An Exciting Day..

Today was just so fun-filled and action-packed, I just don't know where to start ._.
I woke up very late - well, by my standards. 10am! I do not like having breakfast so late. It feels wrong, like I'm committing a crime. Breakfast should be an early affair, not an on-the-fence, almost midday sort of thing. So I skipped breakfast, and opted for a far healthier start to the day, consisting of a very sugary cup of coffee, and a cigarette.
Psch, I know smoking is bad for my health. Meh. Feck off XD
After my healthy morning, I lounged around for most of the day. It's been raining almost all day, and as it's Good Friday, a lot of the local shops were shut; those that hadn't already disappeared to the 'Credit Crunch'. Which, in my opinion, sounds like a very tasty and nutritious breakfast cereal.
I then dragged my morose arse down to Tesco, where I bought Heat magazine. I never like those things normally - media shite - but I felt like I could do with reading about some celebrity with cellulite.
I also bought some mango sorbet. I was on half price, so I thought I may as well. It looked very tasty, but by the time I had walked home, it had melted, and the box was leaking. So I ended up with a very sticky, mango-y hand (and sleeve), and no sorbet.
I haven't been on ACC today. I didn't really feel like going on. I'm not too sure why. But I will probably go on tomorrow.
Catch yers laters.

Bad Language and Exercise.

I would like to apologise for last night's blog. Not profusely, but I'd like to say sorry anyway. I get very worked up over football (could you tell?), and I swear at the telly a lot when I'm watching it, but it is embarrassing, reading my blog back ._.
I sound like a very friendly person if you just know me by my blogs, eh? :3
Thankfully, I don't think many people read them.
On a different topic... excerise (:
My flipping doctor told me that I'm not allowed to do exercise for at least another few weeks. A few weeks?! Pschyea right, doc.
I am a very fidgety person. If I sit still for too long, my energy kind of.. builds up. Not in a kinky way ._. I mean, I will feel like running around if I'm sitting still.
As I am restricted - I am unable to run around and do what I want - I've become very bored, and a tad bit irritable. Now, although I am good when it comes to most things, doctors' orders frustrate me somewhat.
So, I'm going to be an utter rebel and do some exercise.. ._.

Argh!

Third blog today. My blogs are perhaps as unreliable as public transport; wait ages for one, then three come along at once. [/badjoke]
This is just one to express my utter disgust and embarrassment at the Liverpool score. I really should try and tone down my sometimes colourful language in these blogs, so I shall try and keep it to a minimum, but what the fuck happened?
Gah... it's just... I am going to be ridiculed by my friends ._.
Thankfully, school isn't for over a week yet, so I can escape hopefully most of the humiliation, which will be raw in my mind for quite a long time.
I should stop taking it so bloody seriously, I know. But, what can I say? I am very passionate about football.
I got through four bastard cigarettes during that flaming match. Which adds to my pissed-off mood.
That said, I watched the Barcelona highlights, and it was an utter joy to see them ripping Bayern to shreds. Messi is undoubtably the best in the world.

Cars and, er, Music!

I got my car today! So, I still can't drive... and I'm still not entirely sure how to even put the roof down (yet), but my God am I in love with it. Not in an "I-want-your-car-babies" love. No no. Something more... meaningful..
I will post a picture. Hopefully. If I can chav my Vati's mobile for long enough to take a picture. He doesn't trust me with technology, and to be honest, he's quite right. Anything electrical? Take it away from me. Which puts me in a very good position with my car, as just about everything's electrical.
Just incase you're interested, it's a Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible from, like, 2002 :D
Anyway, enough about that. I will probably bore you if I go on for too long about its leather interior, its shiny-ness, its... just it.
Now, to music. I think I want to actually marry music right now. I am not too sure why, but I think that we should have a spontaneous wedding in the Caribbean, with grass skirts and cocktails with umbrellas in.
For some reason, music has been getting to me more and more lately. If I hear a song that I think, "Oh, that would be good to dance to... alone", then I will dance. If I hear a song that really only should be sung in your bedroom with a hairbrush, I'll belt it out. Into a comb! >=]
Anyway, I've had the urge to go on a concert ticket-buying spree. I'm already going to see Take That in June (I can't flippin' wait!), but I really, really want to go to T4 On The Beach.
No, no, no, I have to go.
Let's just hope TicketMaster has tickets left!
To my dad's credit card!

Whoopsie!

I realised as I woke up this morning that I have not updated this for over a week. Oops!
Anyway, hello (:
I woke up unusually early today; 5:57am. What the f*ck? I never wake up that early! Turns out, my window was wide open and let all the bloody cold air in >:/
I left the telly on last night and woke up to that very catchy Don't Upset the Rhythm song. Annoyingly catchy, some would say. Including me. Now, Number 1 (Tinchy Stryder feat. Dappy) is playing. I don't usually like this kind of music, but it is quite good, I think.
Anyway, what's happened to me? you may ask. Sod all, I will tell you. School has now ended, and I have been out everyday, either shopping or going down to the park. I really should be revising. I'll start that, er, next week...
There was no football match this past weekend, so I spent my time shopping in Milton Keynes. All day. My legs hurt afterwards. And so did my arms, to be honest; bought a bit too much. Forgot I had to carry my bags.
Now for the really exciting news - I'm getting a car today!
OK, so I can't drive yet. But I will learn. OK, so the car is second-hand. But it is great! I'm not all into technicalities, but it's a Mercedes convertible. I will try and post a picture on Photobucket, and post a link on ACC or something.
Anyway, I'll be orf now.
Just one more thing - in the video for Flo Rida's Right Round, does anyone else think he's standing on a rather large and tasty looking Oreo?

Op a Success (:

Thankfully, my operation went without a hitch. My whole left arm is now swollen, very sore and constantly throbbing, but the screws and pins etc. will help my metacarpals heal properly. Thankfully, my wrist didn't need anything done.
I woke up at 2pm today; yesterday, I was still very drowsy from the anaesthetic, and I think the painkillers probably added to the effect.
Ibuprofen has become my friend...
Now I am completely confined to a sling on my left arm, it's hard to do anything, and as a result, I burnt my right arm today. It's not a good day.
Before, I had my arm in a cast, but could take it out of the sling if I needed slightly more movement. After I woke up, I was pouring the hot water in my cup with my right hand as I was making my tea. I momentarily forgot my left arm was in a sling, and whacked the kettle with my arm. I poured the boiling water all over my right hand. Thankfully, it doesn't seem too bad, although a bit red. How did I manage to spill hot water all over the arm I was pouring the bastard kettle with anyway?
No blister yet, though.
I am off school until Wednesday. So I'll go back to school for Thursday, and then it's half-term. Two weeks of what's supposed to be relaxing, but will most likely be spent studying.

Joy.

A Good Win and Hilarity.

The girls played well today.
Did I just call them that? The girls? Most of them are older than me. I think I'm getting a bit above myself here.
Anyway, the score was 3-0. A good win, especially with the conditions; wind, hail, rain, you name it. Every detestable weather condition possible occured.
It was bloody freezing on the touchline, me under my granma's brolly (she watches us, with my grandpop), shouting instructions. My feet went numb and were swimming in my unwater-tight shoes, and my hands felt like they were going to drop off.
As soon as I got out of the car, it was hilarious; probably more of a you-had-to-be-there hilarity, but I'll tell you anyway.
We got out of the car and immediately my friend, Rachael, said, "Ooh, it's shit!"
Apparently, she meant that it was very cold. For some reason, this made me laugh so much I found it hard to breathe.
Then, as I was making the team warm up, the referee came over and checked the boots. Rachael was at the end of the line. She always kneels down on the floor instead of lifting her foot up, so she got extremely muddy before the match had even kicked off. The ref told her that she would have to tuck her (bright pink) leggings away. She responded by saying, "Ohh, pleasy weasy can I keep them?"
The ref gave in, so she said, "Thanky wanky!"
Oh, I was having a good old belly laugh about that.
Last one, as the match was going on, there was a smaller team warming up along the touchline as they waited to use one of the smaller pitches, but they wanted to watch our game. Emma, our left back, did an excellent clearance - right into the crowd of small girls. One girl had her back to the pitch, and the ball hit her square between the shoulders. She went flying, and landed face-first in a very deep, very muddy puddle.
I feel bad for laughing, but her face..

Cats Like Coco Pops?

Argh. 'tis the morning of the operation. I wouldn't say that I'm shitting myself, but I'm not looking forward to it, to say the least.
As part of the whole "We'll make this operation as painful as possible" procedure, I'm not allowed to eat today. However, I've pushed this boundary already; I watched Date Movie last night, and gorged through half a 500ml tub of Ben and Jerry's icecream, and a full 500ml tub of Lemon Sorbet. I'm feeling the repurcussions now, though.
In my endeavour to try and break the rules, I inadvertantly discovered that one of my cats eats Coco Pops. No, I didn't come downstairs this morning to find her nonchalantly reading The Independent, drinking a cup of tea and eating her cereal (although, worryingly, I can imagine the scenario), but I was making Coco Pop cakes yesterday. I think you're supposed to use Rice Krispies, but I don't like those annoying Snap, Crackle and Pop marketing figures. I much prefer Coco the monkey.
I accidentally spilt some Coco Pops on the floor, and my cat, whom I assumed was outside, pounced like I've never seen her do before. She started eating the Coco Pops very loudly, as if she was crunching the bones of a thousand mice. She looked as if Christmas and her birthday had come round, rolled into one.
Enough of my cat, though. My day today, although not particularly packed, will hopefull be a good one. At 9am (it's just gone 8am at the moment), I'm leaving for a football (soccer) match. It's nothing major. I play on a football team, and am the captain. As my injury prevents me from playing football, my coach asked me to stand in as manager.
Last week, it went well apart from one major thing. We won 7-0, and that was good, but I also managed to break my friend's wrist. I was making the team practice shooting, when a ball rolled towards me. I instinctively kicked it, and my friend who was in goal was holding her wrist floppy. It hit her wrist and broke it. =3
Anyway, the rest of my day. After I come back from the match, I'm going to watch Saw V round my friend's house. Then, I'll be orf to the 'ospital.

Bloody Gorgeous.

Detentions, Ops and Blogs.

I have decided to start up my own blog, mainly for curiosity's sake.
As all of you who happen to be reading this come from ACC, I don't feel the need to introduce myself. If I do, I go on ACC as Etherl. Look on my profile there, I can't be arsed to write about me just yet.
I will immediately contradict myself now and say, actually, that I will talk about myself. But just today's events.
As a consequence of my 'childish and insolent' behaviour in afternoon registration yesterday (doing the Time Warp on the science desks isn't childish, surely? All those gyrating hip movements...), I had an after-school detention. Which is an interesting concept, for I do not have any lessons on Friday. My Fridays are usually spent studying in the school library, for I have exams coming up, but I don't need to go into school.
So, I thought I'd give myself a break for today, and I toddled off to the park. In true 'me' fashion, I forgot about the afterschool detention that wasn't afterschool, and spent almost all sodding day wondering why it felt as if I had forgotten something.
What a bloody twat.
I also have a rising feeling of apprehension and anticipation; I am having an operation on my left wrist/hand tomorrow, to insert some pins and screws that will hold my (broken, obv.) bones together. I have had operations before, but I'm never too comfortable with the notion of someone cutting me open whilst I'm unsuspectingly dreaming.
Of course, I know what they're doing, so it's not so unsuspectingly. That would be slightly perverted and paedophilic if they had a fetish for cutting open sleeping girls' hands.
I think I have to stay off school until Wednesday. Bollocks.

But, I digress.
